Sheet index order

Is there anyway to create a drawing list/sheet index that would list the Layouts in the order they appear in the layout book rather than by alphabetical order?

look for the "project Indexes" under your "project map".

There you can create, modify various types of tables / indexes far your project. You can make different lists: drawing lists, layout lists, and view lists.

Check it out, it is not hard to learn how it works.
