Simple Roof Trim

Help me please, and forgive my stupidity BUT I am new to Archicad and trying to teach myself, I am trying to create a roof with 2 different pitches.

I have created the roofs from single pitched roof tool such that they intersect each other, fine, but now I want to trim the 2 roofs to each other to create the apex but I can only find a "trim to wall tool".

I know it should be a simple task but as a beginner I cannot find it in the book I have, I tried a simple "split" but it did not work.

Try this:

Select the Roof tool

Select one of your 2 roofs (Shift Click)
Now move the cursor to the ridge line of the other roof and Ctrl Click (Apple Click on Mac) the selected roof. This will make the ridge line of the roof you just clicked move to the apex point.

Repeat the process for the other roof, done!
