Surely there has to be an easier way to move soil, terrain, etc. when you're doing a cut/fill on a site.
If you are happy with the surface levels on the mesh but just want to move it relative to the building model then that is what you do - just move the entire mesh.
But if you are wanting to adjust cut and fill levels then you can adjust the 'Z' height of individual nodes on the surface of the mesh - either by dragging or setting actual values.
You may need to add extra nodes to the mesh so you can adjust them as you want.
I draw 2D splines for where I want the cut/fill extents and then 'Magic Wand' these into the mesh to create the contours and nodes in the mesh surface that can be adjusted.
I am sure there used to be movies in the Archicad YouTube channel (HELP menu) that explained meshes a bit.
It is much easier to see it rather than explain it.
