slabs are not a 'cutable' floor plan element - they only cut in section. you can only define an outline and cover fill for them. (a cover fill could be used as a workaround . . . unless you are using their cover fill for its true purpose).
alternatively you could use a roof element at 0º . . they

be 'cut' by the floor plan cut plane.
