Hi Everyone,
I am trying to model doors into a project.
Here is an example of the door typology:
I have attempted to use the OOTB doors, Cadimage and the Curtain wall tool. Has anyone had success with this door type?
I am working on this project in AC27 currently.
Operating system used: Windows 11

Thanks to Everyone for their replies. The best options so far have been "Faking it" with a Cadimage Bi-fold door and Yves Curtain wall.
For everyone who is asking about the security and weather sealing, I am adding a link to the generic product brochure if you are interested.
The system has an optional weather seal attached to the panels' sides.

Hi Barry,
It's going to be used in a few different applications.
Here is an example from another project. I didn't design this one, however, it is near my project site and uses the same system.
The lower glazing opens completely, as do the balconies. The upper middle system is fixed.

Hi Mate,
Yes, long time no see.
I have ended up using the Cadimage door. It looks passable. I can open it completely or close it completely, and it works.
I will make up the rest in scheduling and specification. It's good enough for rendering, and then I can use the model view options and Twinmotion direct link.
At least this way I can manipulate my schedules easily also.

Hi Mate,
I didn't go down this road. It would've taken too much time in my view.

I tried these library parts, but the Cadimage one ended up being more flexible. Thank you.

Cheers ! I am glad CI tools could be used to represent them even though not perfect. CI are the GDL experts and they could build a library object for us all. I understand that they give an unobstructed view to the outside. “Frameless” to a degree with the vertical parts removed. I see why they are popular.

Yeah, I saw those images, but it is not super clear how it engages, especially for the initial swing panel. The glazing seals just look like a H profile in a hard rubber but to get a good seal you would need a good contact between it and the receiving panel, which would inturn make it harder to operate.
