Square footage

I have a Client that wants every space in the project named. Then he wants to have a square footage calc. of each space, no matter what it is or what it is used for.

What would be the easiest way to accomplish this? Zone on the drawing, then generate a schedule from the zone?

Zones are definitely the way you want to go. You're probably going to need zones in the project anyway to generate door/wdw schedules etc....so why not also use them to list the spaces?

Zones are a powerful organizing tool:
-Your project is going to need roomnames so use the zone for this.
-Zones categories can be used to help organize how they are listed.
-Zones also can be controlled via display options to show or hide their visibillty, names etc.
-Keep in mind that as your design develops you can update the zones and the information you choose to schedule from the zones will update as well.

Reviewing the zone tool, I can see that the saw-off between the two tools is so rudimentary that I regret ever suggesting fills.

IMHO Use zone stamps as you can then create a door schedule which knows which zone it is in.

i can't agree more with this statement!

Not that my 2, 21 inchers weren't greying out and shorting out and fuzzing out after only three years of 24 hour use - what cra.p. Sony:

Shame on you.

A guy with a 30" display isn't a luddite.
He is a slave to fashion.

Bees Knees = Swell.

Easy install on the new grafix card - more fan noise.

Fills the field of view. Tricky with my eyes/glasses combo - still don't have the perfect height.

A second one would be like an Irish drunk, when faced with two wishes from a Leprechaun and gets a bottomless bottle of whiskey for his first wish, asks for second bottle for the other hand.

PC Rag said it is not as unformly bright from all directions as it could be and they are right, but from stage centre it is uniform, sharp and text is clear to 8 pt.

Used to the size now, but visitors are dumb-struck. And DVD is great. No more tanning bed for me.

Satisfied, for once.
