Im pretty new to using CAD im currently trying to make an element like that in John McAslan's Manchester Met law dept, the curved element...I can get the curve i want using the roof tool but it wont let me rotate it into a horizontal wall position...is there another way i should be doing it or a way i can actually rotate it into the proper angle? Any help would be much appreciated

Welcome to the forum.

You'll get better help if you post an image of what you strive for.

The best you can do is to extrude the complex profile or the mesh tool....

Lot of tricks to apply.

Thanks for editing your post and adding the image. Yes, that is easily modeled simply with a complex profile and the Wall Tool. (In Profile Editor, create a section of the curve, at scale, using a fill.)
