Hi everyone,
I'm currently working on optimizing my workflow in Archicad and I've been using the "G" shortcut to switch between geometry methods, which has been incredibly helpful.
However, I am wondering if it's possible to assign a similar keyboard shortcut to toggle between different selection methods, specifically for selecting partial elements versus entire elements.
I haven't been able to find a direct way to do this in the current settings. Does anyone know if this is possible, or if there are any workarounds? Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated as this would significantly enhance my workflow.

I just stick with the third option here, which is direction dependent.
Left to right = entire,
Right to left = partial.

Thanks this is the closest solution to my question.
I am beyond frustrated with Graphisoft's blatant disregard for basic feature requests that have been pending for over 20 years. It's infuriating that essential functionalities, like the toggle shortcut for the arrow tool's selection method, continue to be ignored despite numerous requests from the community.
Here are examples requesting this super basic feature: FROM 2004!!

Glad it helped. After using direction-based selection for a while, you may not feel the need to change the method again. At least, that is my experience.
