How do you remove it from the Trace "reference pulldown list"?

you can't. i asked for a 'clear current ghosts(!)' command during beta. maybe they'd already changed to 'trace reference' by then and didn't understand what i meant

This is by no means a great solution. But if the trace reference you have is part of the layout book or the view map you can delete the actual reference and re-save it.

Obviously if you done a heap of work on the layout itself then it doesn't really help, but its somethign I found out as I was developing this template and as I deleted old layouts etc they disappeared off the trace list

Certainly it would be much easier if GS made a simple remove reference option.

In addition to the other answers here, I believe you can also force an unwanted Trace off the list by adding others. I think a user can have up to 5 traces per view, so in theory you could keep pushing the unwanted Trace to the bottom, then off the list when it becomes no. 6.
AC27 v. 4060 w/ MEP, Cadimage, Twinmotion 2023.2.2 using AC from AC6.0, 2021 MacPro M1 chip, Adobe CC. Used AC on both platforms.

Scott:
Does it work for you? The attached has about 26 references. References that were selected as references, for other views.
