Trees ?

Hi all,

I have created a house Model in Archicad 10. I have downloaded some Free Palm Tree textures with Alpha Maps.

So i want to create my own trees in archicad but don't know how to proceed.

Can someone please explained to me step by step.


Here is my project. [ Its not yet completed ]:

1: get medium-resolution picture of free-standing tree.
2: mask background in photoshop - masking tricky. See articles on masking or buy Mask Pro.
3: save tree in suitable format - tiff or pict - or other modern file type i don't know yet.

4: place file in library
5: Use the attached object - place in library
6: Reload library
7: Place the object - note it can be rotated to face camera.
8: "call" the picture file -- alpha channel "on"
