Turn off hidden fonts?

Is there any way to get ArchiCAD to not recognize hidden fonts? I do not need to see Yu Gothic in every flavor, or Sitka, or @Microsoft JhengHei multiple times. It is difficult to delete these because they are "system fonts." Some programs do not recognize hidden fonts, but unfortunately, ArchiCAD does. Picking out a font for text entities brings up a VERY long list of possible fonts, which I would prefer not to see.

Some applications follow the settings from Control Panel where you can pick fonts that only use your language settings (I still get some asian/arabic fonts regardless of the settings, I guess they aren't recognised properly), ArchiCAD seems to ignore the list. You can even customise this list of fonts. I suspect that programs that follow the Ribbon interface will behave according to this list. It is slightly annoying to have all the bold, LT etc variations of some fonts listed.

Other than saving out favourites after you've made a selection, I don't really have a tip to ease the pain.
