Unifying/joining slab-elements

I have a slight small problem:
I have made a walkway consisting of some 1130 slab-elements. Some of these have the same shape, and some differ somewhat.
They all have the same properties, besides two different slab-thicknesses.

My question:
Since I'm just going to work in AC with this project - is there any way to unify/join all these slab-elements into one element? As you all can understand working with all this elements makes the work-enwiroment behave extremely slow - and the file to be unnecessary big.

Happy for some solution any of you could have

While I'm not aware of a operation similar to "fill consolidation" (AC11) that will work for a slabs I do have a couple of ideas.

1. Draw 1 huge slab whose bounds exceed those of the multiple slabs. Then subtract out the empty space using the magic wand. I've had better luck with this operation when at least one point of the huge slab meets an outer edge of the 'island' of slabs on the interior of the 1 huge slab.

2. Explode the slabs into lines and fills. Select the fills and use the "Fill Consolidation" tool to combine the many discrete fills into one. Use the magic wand on the resulting fill to define a new slab.

Using 1 new slab will result in a product of uniform thickness and elevation. If this is not the desired result, it may be possible to SEO the original many slabs with the new unified slab to create the desired characteristics.

Also, it is helpful if you could include some basic information in your signature to inform us of what version of AC you are using so that we can give you responses that will work for you.
You can consolidate slabs graphically by changing the Geometry Method of the slab to Polygonal.

I don't know if this will help with speed but it can give you some choice about how your slabs look (clean up).

You can select all of the slabs you want to merge, view them in 3D (top view) and then save them as an object. This will merge all of your slabs into one object.
