Wall intersection methods

Hi, just wondering if there is a way to create a wall that doesn't interact in anyway with other walls?

I know you can do it with a layer settings, but just wondering if there is another way to do it .

Other than layers settings :

1) you can adjust walls to meet at the edges away from reference lines.

2) you can use polygonal wall also.

Make sure the baselines don't connect, although this doesn't always work. The only other way I know is a forced drafting error where you leave a tiny gap that won't show in dimensions or drawings.
