I have a fairly large file of a church i have drawn, and it is very slow to navigate anywhere, even on the plan!
Before i have always set walls to be symbolic cut and all the rest of the elements likewise, so that you can only see them on the story you place them on (like Archicad 9). however this time i thought i would try to use the walls properly, as this could work to my advantage, i.e seeing the same high window on two stories.
But i seem to have created a monster, as whenever i zoom in or out on the plan view, it rebuilds for a couple of minutes, just like a section/elevation would when you rebuild it.
It isn't just the size of the file as i have modeled buildings very similar to this before using symbolic cut walls and it behaved normally, not slow. I haven't done anything differently this time either, just the walls.
Any body else had any similar problems with slow files using walls this way?
