Where can I find the webex web object "movie"

I stumbled across a webex movie on the graphisoft website demonstrating GDL web capabilities, and now I can't find it. The only link I have in my web-browser history is "https://graphisoft.webex.com/graphisoft/mywebex/tool/docshow/win2kjava_close.php". This script closes my browser window; not exactly what I had in mind. Any idea what the correct URL is?

This is my first post, so hopefully I selected the correct forum.

Thanks in advance,

Todd

Wow, another person from Philadelphia. Welcome!!

I think Graphisoft officially discontinued the GDL web stuff, but I could be wrong.

Thanks Karl,

I found what I was looking for in www.graphisoft.com/products/archicad/object_intelligence/. At the bottom of the page are several links to WebEx "movies". If you follow the Objects from the Web url, you will find a nice presentation demonstrating Drag and Drop Objects. Unfortunately, the WebEx link ultimately closes the refering window (GraphiSoft "object_intelligence" webpage), and you must retraverse the GraphiSoft website to replay the "movie" or play other WebEx "movies" found on the "object_intelligence" webpage.

If you right click->"Open In New Window", then WebEx uses and ultimately closes the new window, not the window you launched it from, thus saving you the trouble of retraversing the website. Perhaps a
<A TARGET="webexwindow" ...>
or similar is in order?

Thanks,

Todd

OK. Now I go to a Mac and the WebEx plugin for OS X from the WebEx Website won't play the GraphiSoft .wrf files (see my previous post). I don't remember the exact error, but it was something like "Can't play this .wrf file." They play on my XP machine. Any suggestions?

BTW: When you are asked to login at the WebEx website, you can ignore it; the WebEx plugin has already been installed by the time you get to the login screen.

Thanks in advance,

Todd

I had the same problem. I'llbounce it off our SysAdmin, but it may be a while. He's a bit swamped since they laid off our IT Director last week.

if i recall correctly, the webex plugin will only run under IE, not safari . . . does that help?

Hi Ben et al,

I successfully downloaded and installed the WebEx plugin?/player? for Safari. I haven't tried to play .wrf files other than the GraphiSoft ones, so I'll try that next.

We only have one XP machine and its almost never available, so it would be better to have the option of running the .wrf files on our Mac Portable.

Thanks,

Todd
