I've attached a pdf to show what I mean.
I have been through all settings - views, renovation filters, object attributes, but can't find the solution

If you look closely at the first image there are little white gaps on the guidelines where your opening lines would be.
I would suspect they are being drawn with a white pen.
Go into the opening settings to see if you can change it.

I had been through every pen setting I could find in the opening settings.
Turns out it was the uncut pen setting in the wall.
