I believe Archiruler from Cigraph will answer all your questions.(both geometry and texture fills).

To Ben: I'm looking for a circle, not for a line. And the links are very similar to what I've found in my geometry book. (i've had to clean the dust). And really, I think both things should be done within Archicad with object references
To Petros, I think Archiruler can't solve a circle tangent to two circles, I tried but I couldn't, maybe I miss something. I'll look better.... don't know about fills with textures, but I'll look too
Thanks for all

Here is the geometric method I use to get a circle tangent to two other circles. It takes a few clicks, but its not too bad once you get used to it.
Basically, you striike two arcs and place the new circle at the intersection.
The first arc has radius = (new circle radius) + (radius of circle #1), and the arc is centered on circle #1.
The second arc has radius = (new circle radius) + (radius of circle #2), and is centered on circle #2.

Karl,
That works very nicely.
Thank you for the geometry lesson.

the Archiruler suggestion was spot on. I too wanted to draw a circle tangential to two circles. it is very very easy with Archiruler at ones disposal. I have introduced it to my firm and we will be looking purchase more copies.
