beam veneers

Why are there veneers for posts but not beams? I assume this is not available in 11 (since my search for 'beam veneer' came up empty).

I know I can make 2 beams concentrically, then just boolean one out of the other with SEO's. But it seems such a workaround for something you'd do pretty regularly, like cladding a 4x10 in sheetrock.

Anyone else jonesing for this feature?

Not really.

With Complex profiles, you can add veneers 'til the cows come home.

Ahh of course -- I haven't thought of using that feature for such simple profiles. And I won't have to wait for all those $%@ cows!
