i am learning to create a window opening ,but how to arrive at the centre point of the window .In BIM the centre point is given in form of labels which makes it easy.

Select the window tool.
Click on the wall where you want to place the window.
Works in plan and 3D (but not in section).
Settings are in the Info Box or the settings dialog.
When you say "BIM" do you mean Revit? BIM refers to all building modeling software including ArchiCAD.

i think you got me wrong.i will explain with a example.
suppose 1 want to draw a wall of 10 mts,and want to place window at 4mts, so how i arrive(cursor point) at the centre point of window (4m).
by BIM i refered to the archicad tutorials, where centre point is given in form of labels.
