Hi guys !!!!!
Today is my 4th day with archicad in my life.
No trainning just go go go and see what happens.
I am modelling a building with cornered edges.
I have placed in a stairs with the correct overall dimenions.
But the corner of the stairs is pushing through the corner wall peice.
I have tried to use the 3d solid operations tool with every posaability with no luck.
What can I do to nock these edges off ?
or even better make the edges go and have the hand rail follow the wall curve.
here is an attached picture to help explain my little problem.
Thanks and great forum by the way !
Ian
Hi,
Select the stair open its edit window. In the plan preview click on the corner you want to chamfer or fillet. The Corner setting box will pop up and you can choose the option you want and set the length/radius as appropriate.
Please open your Profile in Architalk and add to your signature the version(s) of archicad you are using and your platform. While this question applies to many versions of archicad, this isn't always the case.

Thanks Erika for the help.
I have found the edit panel. I have to select the type of stair, then i get into this edit screen.
I made the changes ok, clicked OK.
then have a save button (see photo below)
but after that ?? nothing chnages with my stairs ?
i think imissing something ?
solved it.
i have to save it as a new stairs.
then create a new stairs, using mine from the list of (my items)
sorry guys i dont know the right words.
im using a german version of archicad and trying to free translate every thing.
