detail tool boundary box needs to change - V12

I was shown this once and forgot- How do I change the boundary "cut" box when using the detail tool. I can change the dashed line but I need to change the actual cut box- boundary box.

There is an on-screen view option Marker Range. When it is on the bounding box of the detail shows and you can edit it similar to the fill tool.
