Text moving in Annotate cell for Interactive Schedules

I have come across this issue over the last 18-24 months:

Using Interactive Schedules to list doors & windows;

In the Elevation View cells of the schedules we typically add in additional annotation, dimensions, fill, etc to add additional detail to the schedule.  (we use the View from Reveal Side, if that is of any consequence)

On odd occasions the Text for the following tools becomes displaced from its correct position:

     - TEXT,

     - LABELS (Pointer remains in correct location),

     - FILL TEXT (fill boundary remains in correct location)

Text and lines for (automatic & non-automatic) dimensions is not affected.

The displacement is visible in the:

     - Schedule View and

     - on Drawings placed on Layouts.

But inside the 'Annotate' window, everything looks correct.

Have not been able to fix this issue.

Only work-around is to duplicate the schedule and re-do all the custom annotation - not pleasant or productive use of our time.

This has occurred in AC 25, 26 & 27

Posting here as our local provider has not been able to find a solution so far and wondering if anyone else has come across  this same issue?

Operating system used: Windows 11

I have had this bug today, it's still not fixed in the latest update. Did you find any work around?

Unfortunately no.
My work around is to not annotate within the interactive schedule cells to avoid re-work:

  • Try to contain required information in information cells (via properties)
  • model as much into the elements being scheduled as required
  •  worse case, annotate over the schedule on the Layout where the schedule is planned.

This really needs to be fixed!

Hello! I have been wrangling with this exact issue all day and just found your post... just checking to see if you found a resolution? Many thanks!

Still no.

If you're on a Teamwork project, saving it off as a PLN and opening that sometimes fixes the issue (then you can re-share).

Only advice from support was to do a preferences clean - but so far I've still had to save off a PLN which (usually) fixes the issue

Thanks so much for the reply - that's a shame though!

I'm already working on a PLN, I guess I can try a 'save as' to a new file.  Interestingly, it is not happening in another file I opened recently created by a colleague in V25.  It seems to be a very fickle issue, looks like i'll be adding notations over the layout...  *sigh*

Thanks again!

I was having a similar issue on a migrated file. Ended up doing an "Open and Repair", and then recreated the schedule entirely new from scratch and have not seen the issue occur again.
