door opening hides the floor slab and rail inside it

Hello, does anyone know a way to make a floor slab visible inside a door opening? I placed a handrail there and it is hidden also.

I attached a screenshot. The blue line is the slab and you can see that the door opening has hidden it. Thanks for any info.

Thank you James. I see now that the bottom of the wall has to be flush with the top of the slab. It works now. Appreciate your help.
