early morning question Level depths.

i know some one will slab a fish across my face and say good morning.
but i will ask the question.

i have my ground level and then my first floor level.
I go to my ground level, model a few nice walls and the walls are joined to the first floor level... thats all super.
But when i click on the first floor plan in the navigator, i cant see the walls on the plan.
thats where is the question mark comes in for me ?

Where can i tell archicad, to make plan deptsh, from the plan level, up about 500mm.
see the attached picture for a better explanation.

I can find the height settings for the plans, but not the view depth and maybe even which direction the view is looking. that would be nice.

Anyway, thanks guys for your help.
Best wishes.
Ian

Slap, slap (or is that slab, slab ).

If you have walls that continue from one floor level through to the next then you can turn on the option for "show on stories" to "show on all relevant floors" in the wall settings.

This can be combined with the "Floor plan cut plane" and changing the "Floor plan display" from "Symbolic" to "Projected with ovehead" if you want an exact height for the cutting plane.
But be aware this may affect how doors and windows are displayed (they also have their own settings).

Generally you shouldn't need to worry about "projected with overhead" if you just set them to show on all relevent stories.
