editing plane

I had input a project with the finished floor at 100'-0" using V13. I have since saved this project in V15. The building section display text now reads 200'-0" In the story level settings, the floors are correct at 100'-0" Is the editing plane automatically set at 0'-0" and therefor the building is floating 100' above? Is there a way to raise the editing plane 100'-0"?

Check your Levels & Project North settings under the Project Preferences. My guess is your Project Zero is set to +100'. For future projects, model from 0'-0" as your model's base elevation, and then control the referenced elevations via the Reference levels.
