favorites dont work and are written in gray text

When I try to use my favorites they show up in their usual list format, but they are grayed out and they don't do anything when I click on them. Anyone understand what is going on with that?

Are the layers that they would use locked?

If they contain library parts of any kind, they will need to be in the active loaded libraries.
