fill orientation of roof accessories

RandyC

The Fill orientation in Archicad 16 Accessories appears to show incorrect
however the roof orients correct in 3d. Am I missing something ?

Randy,
No problem here; can you show us a view of your results 3D window?

Seems like a bug, Randy ... I get the same results in 16 as you do ... proper 3D display, but 2D as you show.

Erika - was your test in 16?

Wow. Wonder what we're doing differently that it works for you, Erika!

I modeled a hip with the muliplane roof tool, reshape> converted to individual roof planes, selected all planes, choose the roof accessory...

Same result for me (16 INT, OS X 10.6.8 ). My own roof accessories too, are broken (fill orientation).
A temporary workaround. In 2D Script, neutralize line 46.
!beta=0
Fill orientation will refer to the calculations of beta (pivot line direction) in the Master Script.
On other hand, now, acurate location for fill origin is hard to control. No time to check further.
It seems that the behaviour of poly2_b{2} command with roof accessories is broken.
This is strange, because this part of 2D Script (beta=0) is unchanged since ages and worked nicely.
Waiting for GS fix.

Hardly the "skylight & roof accessory" bug fixed in 16 (but not in 15), here is a new one.
A bit disappointing.

Erica,
yours pictures are 3D roof construction elements from the Roof Wizzard, not the Roof Surfacer from the Roof Accessories.
