help with folded roof

hello,

i am new to archicad and am trying to create a folded roof for a conceptual project i am currently working on. i have attached a crude image from sketchup to give you an idea what the intention is. it is a series of folded roof planes "ramps". is this possible with archicad?

It is possible and easy if you use the Mesh tool. To achieve a certain thickness copy the mesh, move down and SEO the two!

thanks for the tip, what is SEO? sorry still learning the commands.
i have another question, is it possible to then insert openings into these folded planes, for example an open courtyard?

SEO - solid element operation. Look it up in the Help.

Openings - yes, whatever form you like. Better do it with SEO too.

Use the mesh tool
download the Mesh to Roof goodie and install it
use Mesh to Roof on the Mesh
done

With mesh to roof method, always copy the mesh to a hidden layer as a backup before converting it to roof planes - there's no going back.
