highlight searched item - Apple users

Hello, 

since there is no general forom board, i put my question in the design section, it may help in design, maybe, 

I saw on youtube,when an apple user opens the material list or any attribute list, for exemple, when he write "br" , all materails containing "br" are highlited, others are greyed out, 

can someone tell me the name of this fonctionnality, and if there is a windows plugin that can de the same ? 

super handy when you work on a big list of attributes,

It is a standard Mac OS feature I believe.

Windows does not have this feature.

However if you open the list and type the first letter or two, you should be taken to the first name that matches those letters.

You have to type fairly quickly if you want to match more than one letter.
