how to use C channel for stair stringer

Hello; I have a deck and stair landing that are framed with MC steel channel beams. I would like the stair stringer to match the steel framing, but don't see how. Is it possible to edit the stringers on a stair in this way?

not without altering the script. In similar situation I've used the stair type with just the treads and added a separate channel beam sloped to match; probably what you have already figured out.

This is one of those times I would use the stair tool to help calculate the rise/thread dimensions and then I would just build the stair from parts and use SEO to clean up the edges. I've done a bunch of these and it can get painful if you fight with AC too much. Especially when it comes to railings.
