important question about cursor

hi

i am using archicad 10 at work for 2 years now
excelent software but now i have a rather stupid but important question:
at home im using archicad 12
when i use the mouse to mark some objects/line/ what ever in the work area using the arrow tool, in archicad 10 the squere used to disappear immidiatly. in version 12 there is a delay or animation of the squere (used to mark things) closing in.

this small delay makes me crazy. the thing is i could not find in the preferences nothing about this

plzplz help me its a small but important thing for me

Hi Zilberdik,

Go to Advanced Redraw Options page in the Work Environment and choose Simplified Model. Also turn of Antialias and see it it makes a difference.

What are you computer specifications - especially the RAM and video?

my computer specs are 4gb ram

video card radeon hd 4600
could this be the problem ?
intel core 2 quad cpu q6700 2.67ghz

How much RAM does your video card have?
Have you installed the latest drivers?

This page shows the recommended video cards, although may not go as far back as AC10-12.

It certainly looks like a video card issue rather than an ArchiCAD one.
