so i made it with mesh, i hope it right.
the problem that when i render it doesn't show the thickness of the mesh.
it appears only as if it's a surface of 1cm.
any clue where i'm going wrong?

- only top surfaces (I think this one is active in your case)
- top and side surface
- completely filled model (this one will be the best for your model)
(see picture)
best regards, gerd

It depends on how you adjusted the heights of you mesh. Please see the attachment. If you elevated your Z height below the Mesh Reference Plane, then the thickness (1000mm in your case) will disappear.
You should model your meshes with a reference plane that is at a lower elevation than all the points in the mesh.
Hope that helps and please say hi to Maged Ibrahim for me!

WHICH MEANS IF THE LOWEST LEVEL ON THE MESH IS -1.5METER AS AN EXAMPLE SO THE MESH LEVEL SHOULD BE THIS THEN I ADD MY POINT ACCORDING TO THE ZERO LEVEL.
RIGHT?
