A lot of general questions here, but how can i achieve a curved bridge with handrail to match and vertically curved shapes? Is this possible in Archicad?

you can do this with trussmaker (in extras menu)

Not excacly.
If the curve is on one flat layer yes.
But if its a winding road (have curves in both x-y axis) then is very tiring

Archicad is notoriously weak in curved modeling of complex forms. In some cases you can work a little magic and get the desired results. Other times you cannot.

if the bridge is curved in both plan and height then, no, trussmaker won't work

a combination of the 'curved ramp' and 'spiral' objects in the library might work

The other alternative is some custom GDL programming, but I doubt it would be cost effective for a single use,

the perfect software for that type of project is GEOPAK...
in this case 'geopak bridge'...you will find it in www.bentley.com
