no perspective

I'm using start edition 2009 and have no perspective ability. I do have axonometrics but a blank screen when I try to see perspectives. I've reinstalled the program but it did not help. Any suggestions?

Place a camera object into the plan view. Aim it at the model. SELECT the camera. THEN activate the view.
