I have encountered an odd problem with the fill tool measured area value, It could just be something simple that I'm overlooking, but I honestly cant imagine what it would be, I've attached a screenshot, and no the house isnt for lego men, the measured value is wrong... any ideas?

cheers,
dan

have you checked your boundaries to make sure they are in the correct place? I once had a problem with the boundaries snapping to grid and it took the longest time to figure tht little thing out.

a good thought, but I did check that out, I even deleted the fill, and recreated it and got the same result, an interesting note: even if I make an entire new fill, say off to the side of the plan, and I make it 25'x25', the resulting area is said to be 58.06 sq.ft.

dan
There's a bug where the area is getting displayed in square meters, but units displayed as square feet. i.e. 25'x 25' = 58.06 sq. meters.

I don't remember the fix, but it was pretty simple. Do a search.

Edit: okay I did if for you http://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/viewtopic.php?p=27980
