problems with the magic tool

hello

pls help me

I was working with the slab tool on plygonal method...very simple
suddenly it got with the "magic icon" or something and I dont want to use it!!
just point to point !

How can I control it ?pls?

Post a screenshot, I don't know what a "magic icon" is.

Normally you can use the magic wand to find a polygon shape and draw a new element from it. usually it is controlled by the spacebar.

I still don't know what causes it, but a restart usually clears it.

Also in future, please put your ArchiCAD version and operating system specs in your signature, as some problems are version specific.

I had this problem too.
Could not figure out what was the cause so usually I had to restart AC to get rid of it.
