One option is to create the profile using the
Profile Manager, then use the Wall or Beam Tool to add the profile to the roof edge. In the Help files see: Elements of the Virtual Building > Construction Elements > Place a Wall/Column/Beam with a Complex Profile >

You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.
