show on / link to not working?

I have selected a roof in order to change what story that it shows on. When I choose show 1 story up and uncheck the home story box in the custom dialog box it still shows on the home story?

I just tried it with these settings:

FLOOR PLAN DISPLAY
Show on Stories - Home Story Only
Floor Plan Display - Outlines Only

Works fine. Running on a PC with the latest build 1114 as well.

EDIT. Just noticed you were on 10. I will try it on that one as well.

Ok. Tried it on 10 with these settings:

SHOW ON / LINK TO STORIES
Own Story Only

FLOOR PLAN DISPLAY
Outlines only

Did you draw it on the 1 floor and move it up to the 2nd? Or has it always been on the 2nd? If you moved it then that might be why it is defaulting and showing there.

Thanks, I just ended up doing a cut and paste from first to second floor because it had been drawn on the first floor, but I just figured that I could use the link to story settings instead. In custom there is that box that can be checked which says "home story." I thought if I unchecked that box then it would not show on the first floor but it still does. so ???
