slat fence with gate

Hi

How would I create a timber slat fence in archicad with a gate?

I would use the railing tool for the fence and add nodes both sides of the gate so you will get posts there.

Then add some 2D lines to represent the gate swing in plan and elevation.

If you want to show the gate open, then start and stop the fence on both sides.

Then add a smaller fence for the gate at the angle you want it to be open.

Or you may need to model the gate with columns, beams, walls, etc.
