License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. We apologize for any inconvenience.

using "property name" in "Find&Select&quo

Hello all,

I have a model with several ridge tiles differing in inclination. I'd like to select all of the ridge tiles with inclination="x" so that I could change them all at once. But the "inclination" property is not listed as one of the selectable criteria.

I tried to use the "property name" criteria, but the available names are too coded for me to know what each of them relates to.

Is there anyone out there who has tried to do the same thing as I?

Many thanks in advance.
Joaquim

You can't use Find & Select with an internal parameter as a search criterion.

Use the Interactive Scheduler. Include the library part name and the inclination parameter. Check the box to show matching elements as a single entry. You can then make a single adjustment in the IS.

Thanks Matthew. That worked.

But now I'm curious on the usefulness of the "property name" usage for the lay man. Can you expand a bit on that?

thanks,

I haven't used that function, but it refers to parts used for quantity calculations. I doubt that it will be useful to you.
