windows installed transversing more than one story

Newbie here, sorry. If I have a window that is installed over two stories, it only "punches" in one story (3d), the one in which it is drawn in plan, say on the first story. Is there a better workaround than drawing the window twice, one on each story? As this screws up the schedule.

You can use a Multi-story wall (Show on all relevant stories, Projected floor plan display), or if it suits better to use two walls use an empty opening to remove the section of wall in the upper floor, which is then excluded from schedules.

I have used the latter method in the past, but now almost exclusively use the former.
