Hi to all! My name's Luca and I'm new here!
First of all I'm apologising for my english, but I really need your help for a very annoing problem!
I'm taking an internship and I'm currently working on a project which was started by a girl who moved in an another studio, so I've started working on her AC12 files, here's the problem: I cannot see the true colors of the hatchs, I can see them only in grey, no matter what I'm changing.
I've tried with this:
option->work enviroment-> screen option -> Automatic Pen Color Visibility Adjustment for Model Views
but it doesn't work, any of you has an idea??
thanks a lot!!

You see Hatches in gray WHERE ?
1. On plans in Project Map ?
2. On Layouts ?

Did you check the Pen Sets?

Hi andro55

... definitely not in layouts, there I can see everything fine, so I suppose I should say on plans on project maps.. I'm sorry but I'm learning AC using it.. Anyway it's in the drawing area, where I draw the "floors" of my house

I checked the set pens, although without knowing what I had to look for, so any suggestion is really appreciated

Now I going to fill my profile.. thanks

Luca:

One thing to check is the Trace & Reference palette > Active to see if it is set to Original Color. Some screen shots would help explain your problem.

Find out!
if I disable the "reference plan" (icon is made by two trasparent square - one cyan and one yellow) I can see the colour.
But is it impossible to have both? I mean have colours and referece plan active at the same moment??

Thanks a lot

When you say you are working on AC12 files, are you working in AC12 or a later version on older files? I'm wondering if you're actually using AC15 if it is a Renovation Filter issue.

Add computer spec and AC version info to your signature, as "results may vary".

Lucal,

Yes you can have both. Enable the Original Color scheme for both the Reference and your Active view. The color assignment is meant to be helpful in that it differentiates the two views, making it easier to work, but it is also customizable for everyone's taste.

Best regards!
