Hi there,
I see german translation in the int. community,
in plural is ok, but singular is: vor einer Stunde, vor einer Woche, vor einem Monat, vor einem Jahr 😉
singular not ending in German with n......

No, it is working everywhere. We have 6 options for languages right now:
Selecting any of the specified languages means that all Community pages, no matter which community you are on, will be displayed in that selected language. In your case, if it's English (US), then even if you visit the Japanese Community, the user interface will be displayed in English. However, if you use 'Use default', it will depend on the current community's settings on what language you see the user interface.
Also, the content is never translated by the system automatically, so even if you use one of the 5 languages all the time, the content and posts won't translate automatically to English from German for example.

I am a little confused as there is no translation in the INT community.
It should all be English - unless you have your browser set to translate.
There is however a German community as well.
Not a translation of the INT community, but its own community.
So if your browser is translating the INT community, I don't think there is much that can be done.
However if it is a problem in the Deutsch community, then it would be best to post in there.
Barry.

Hi @Andreas81ch,
Thanks for the notice. Involving native speakers ( @Claudius 🙂 ), we found where the problematic string comes from and fixed on our internal site and soon release here as well.
@Barry Kelly if you change your preferred language in your profile from default to any of the other languages, the user interface will translate to that language no matter which community page you are on.

Hi @Noemi Balogh ,
Screenshot from my browser. I am often in the english community, but it shows german text;
When I press for "Deutsch", then of course, its the German speaking community 😉

So if I am in the INT community and I set my profile to another language, it will be translated to that language.
That is good to know, not that it helps me, because I don't understand much of any other language.
But the same is not true if I go to another language community?
If I am in the German community and I set my preferred language to English, I still do not see an English translation.
So, only the INT community is translated?
Barry.

Ahh, I see.
It is not that actual posts being translated, it is just the community infrastructure (menus, titles, etc) that are translated.

The default language on the whole community level is English, but it is configured to be different on each community sub-site and their children pages.
Also, I'm happy to share with you that we put out the fix for the German grammar issue, so it should be fine now. Thank you again for reporting it!
