Notification about post moderation

If moderators are going through and edit our posts - could we atleast have a notification about when, what and why?

I many times edit posts, I think I edit the most posts among the moderators. Most of the time I resize the images or place the images inline instead of them being attached so people can see them without having to click to view them.

Another case when I edit posts is when someone posts a long GDL or C++ code. In that case, I modify it and put it in a code box so it does not take as much vertical space.

Sometimes I also edit posts to correct grammatical errors.

Thanks for sharing your feedback. We will further discuss with our moderation team whether to notify users, especially when the edit goes beyond content position/format and grammatical mistakes.
