3D Model View

Anonymous
Not applicable
Am having problems viewing my model in perspective when in 3D. As an axonometric it works fine, but when I hit perspective view the model vanishes. It is quite a large file, though am unsure whether that makes any difference. I have tried to centre the model, turned every layer on, but nothing shows, just a blank white screen!

Help appreciated! Thank you!

sounds like the camera isn't looking at the model. In the perspective window.

set your floor plan so what you want to see shows in the plan window.

View>3D view mode>3D projection settings>Perspecitve Settings. On the left you will see your floor plan window. you can click on the sun symbol and move it around or set precisely day time and location in More Sun.
The other setting graphic you can click on the circle which is the target and holding down the mouse button move it to where you want. Similarly the corner of the L shaped heavy line click on that to move where the camera is located.

Save views of the 3D window redefining to match current 3D window when you have a view you like so you can return there.

A hasty reply, but should cover the basics.
HTH.
