Hotlinked within Hotlinked and circular references files??

here's what I have.
Archicad 14, OS Mac system.

I have 3 PLN files, 1 a teamwork one, the other 2 hotlinked files to be linked ot the main teamwork file.

(let me see if I can explain this via words - simpler with graphics but here goes...)

Let's say you have the "PlanNew.PLN" file and you need to see the "PlanSite.PLN" file to reference off of. Then you have also an "PlanExst.PLN" file which also needs to have a relationship with the other two.

How do you hotlink, XREF, whatever one file into another while at the same you have the file that's being hotlinked, referenced back onto itself???

What's the best way to avoid circular referencing of PLN files yet when you need to relate them back to each other to do work in?????

I hope I have explained it correctly. Hard to do without graphics.

I'm running into the "circular xref" problem we used to have in Autocad where one file, let's say PlanA was referenced into SiteB yet the PlanA file needed to have SiteB file in it so that you could do work.....

in other words...help!
what's the best method practices for this scenario?

Come on now folks....really need some expert opinions here on this issue.

Circular xref'ng (as it relates to in Archicad though).

3 PLN files. "Plan-New.PLN", "Plan-Exst.PLN" and "Site-Exst.PLN".

"Site-Exst.PLN" file needs to have "Plan-New.PLN" file hotlinked into it.
But.....in order for me to do some design work, I need to see/have in it, the "Site-Exst.PLN" file hotlinked into the "Plan-New.PLN" file...hence where I keep getting the circular issue.

what is the best method in resolving this.

Ok....apparently it works with "Nested Hotlinks"....so that's the key...

I was gonna say that you should use the Skip Nested Modules option so there will be no circular references.
