Archicad 18 - Hotlink with Multistory Active

Archicad 18 - Build 4020
Windows 7 - x64 (all up to date)
Nvidia Graphics - GTX570 (latest drivers)

Am I the only one with this annoying delay, when I use a Multistory hotlink to my model?! It takes ages when you select the model on plan to activate, then there is huge delays when I try and move it.
With single story hot-linking there is no problem, but I have so many floors I need to use Multistory!

Any suggestions, help!?

Just how many floors are there?
Do you need all your layers showing?

I don't know why the amount of floor is relevant because I tried even with just 2 floor, and brings everything to a standstill when I use the Multistory function.
Back in the day I placed 10 floor Multistory buildings on a Site layout with no hassle...
The multistory building has minimum info so layers are not relevant either...
I know that the use of Cadimage has caused serious delays in placing of hotlinks, maybe this is happening again I will have to do a clean install without any plugins or use there of.

I will report back. But has anyone else experienced this?

Zak,
Don't yell when people here are trying to be helpful.

I have no problem placing multi-story modules.

You mentioned many stories, so it's logical to ask how many and how large a file. While Archicad and other similar programs have improved quite a bit over the years, there is a point where large and/or complex projects can began to bog down a file.

Trying to get at your problem, you are now adding information such as your use of CADimage and known problems using it.

We use multi-story hotlinks all the time without any slow-down.

We don't use any third party tools, only in-house developed objects.
