BIMx rendering question

What is the best option (view>3D view options) for a BIMx model to render the textures properly. When I choose BIM an inordinate amount of red vertical lines occur. Is my assumption that the view option chosen for the 3D view will be the view option in the BIMx model correct?

Yea, that's exactly how it works.

Archicad saves a small picture from the 3D view you have set in the BIMx model and uses it as a preview picture.

You CAN change it manually in the "Project Preview & Architect Credits" menu, but by default it uses the 3D view.

If I remember correctly, you can use multiple 3D views in the BIMx file, and Archicad will just use the first one as a BIMx preview.
