Change Entry is Locked

I have a Change entry that I created incorrectly that I would like to delete or edit the name of, but it is locked.  I'm not sure exactly what happened, but I believe I selected it, clicked the red X, and then was prompted to choose whether or not to keep the linked markers as independent markers which I said yes to.  I now have several unlinked markers which I would like to assign to a change having the same number, but different name as the locked change entry.  How can I unlock this entry so I can change the name, or how can I delete it so I can recreate it, then re-assign the unlinked markers to it?
