When I convert AC files to DWG i want every symbol and text and everything to be "by layer" so that when I open the dwg I can change the color of everything by changing the color of the layer. This works fine except for room name and room number in zones wich becomes a block and is in need of manually changing of colors. Any tip on how to solve this?

You may try to create Custom Layers for Zone Stamps and Zone Texts in the Attributes\Layers\Methods page of the Settings in Selected Translator panel of the DXF-DWG Translation Setup Dialog.
That will place those on separate layers (and I suppose this way they will not be part of the block generated from Zones - I have not tried it)

The Zone stamp becomes a block with the color by layer but the text becomes block attributes and is given a color within the block that is not by layer.
